Day 1: Arrival - Taipei
Arrive in Taiwan’s bustling capital and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a relaxing evening exploring nearby restaurants or shops. For a taste of local nightlife, head to Shilin Night Market for traditional street snacks and souvenirs.
Overnight in TaipeiDay 2: Taipei Heritage & Highlights (B)
Begin your exploration at Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall and Longshan Temple, then continue to the National Palace Museum. In the afternoon, visit Dihua Street, where traditional medicine shops and tea houses preserve the city’s old charm. End the day at Taipei 101 Observatory, followed by dinner at a local restaurant or food stalls in Ningxia Night Market.

Set out on a day trip to the northern highlands. Wander through Jiufen, a nostalgic hillside village with tea houses and narrow lanes once known for its gold mining history. Visit Shifen Waterfall, the “Little Niagara of Taiwan,” and experience releasing a sky lantern in Pingxi, carrying your wishes into the sky.

Travel south by high-speed train to Taichung. Visit the colorful Rainbow Village, an art project by a retired soldier, and the National Taichung Theater, a modern architectural marvel. Conclude the day at Gaomei Wetlands, where wind turbines and sunset reflections create a stunning view.

Depart for Sun Moon Lake, one of Taiwan’s most breathtaking natural spots. Visit Wenwu Temple, Ita Thao Village, and take a leisurely cycling tour along the lakeside trail. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise across the lake to fully appreciate its tranquil beauty.

Travel to Alishan, famous for its misty forests, ancient cypress trees, and scenic mountain railway. Ride the Alishan Forest Train through towering trees, visit the Sacred Trees Trail, and enjoy panoramic sunset views from Alishan Observation Deck.
Overnight in AlishanDay 7: Alishan to Tainan (B)
Descend from the mountains and continue to Tainan. Explore Anping Old Street, Chihkan Tower, and Koxinga Shrine, then sample local specialties such as oyster omelets or Dan Zai noodles at Tainan Night Market.
Overnight in TainanDay 8: Tainan to Kaohsiung (B)
Head to Kaohsiung, Taiwan’s second-largest city. Visit Lotus Pond with its striking Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, then continue to Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum, an impressive cultural and spiritual landmark. Stroll along Pier-2 Art Center and enjoy an evening at leisure by Love River.
Overnight in KaohsiungDay 9: Kaohsiung to Lukang to Taipei (B)
After breakfast, depart Kaohsiung and drive to Lukang, a historic town known for its well-preserved temples and traditional streets. Visit Lukang Old Street, where you can stroll among quaint shops and local snacks. Explore Longshan Temple, one of Taiwan’s oldest and most famous temples, and Tianhou Temple, dedicated to the sea goddess Mazu. After the tour, continue the drive back to Taipei for your overnight stay.
Overnight in TaipeiDay 10: Departure (B)
After breakfast, enjoy some leisure time to soak in Taipei’s final moments before your transfer to Taoyuan International Airport for departure.
