Serene Sites of Sumba
Day 1: Sumba Arrival (L)
Upon arrival at Tambolaka airport, our friendly driver and guide will greet you. You'll be taken to your hotel in Tambolaka, followed by a delightful lunch at hotel. Afterward, we'll head to Ratenggaro village to explore its unique traditional houses and ancient stone-age cemetery. Then, we'll visit Weekuri Lake, where you can swim or even cliff jump. Next, we visit Mandorak Beach to enjoy the sunset.

Today, we embark on an adventure from Southwest Sumba to East Sumba. After breakfast, we head to Praijing Village for a glimpse into local life. Then to Lapopu Waterfall before a long drive to Waingapu, East Sumba. On the way we make a stop in Warding Hill to enjoy the breathtaking sunset view of the landscape of Sumba Island.

We start our day with a visit to Tanarara Hill, offering picturesque views of the hilly landscape. Next, we'll relax at Waimarang Waterfall and enjoy the tranquil ambiance. Our last stop is Walakiri Beach, perfect for watching the sunset over the horizon.

Today, we journey to Tanggedu Waterfall, passing beautiful landscapes along the way. After a short trek, we'll be greeted by the enchanting waterfall. Then, we'll head to Puru Kambera savannah and beach to relax.

Experience the charm of local village life at Prailiu Village, observing traditional houses and tombs. We'll then visit Persaudaraan Hill for panoramic views of Waingapu. After lunch, we'll visit Tenau Hill for more stunning scenery and perhaps catch another sunset. Farewell dinner at hotel.

After a leisurely breakfast, take some time to soak in the peaceful atmosphere of Sumba one last time—whether browsing for keepsakes at local markets or enjoying the slow rhythm of island life. When ready, we’ll escort you to the airport for your onward flight. As you leave this enchanting island behind, the memories of breathtaking sunsets, hidden waterfalls, and timeless villages will stay with you, a journey to cherish long after you’ve returned home.
